If you’re a city lover, Lisbon, Portugal, is a must-visit. It’s my favourite city along with Budapest. Wander through the picturesque streets lined with colourful tiles, enjoy a ride on the iconic tram 28, and Savor delicious pasties de nata at a local café. Don’t forget to visit the historic Belém Tower and the contemporary MAAT museum for a full cultural experience.

And for an unforgettable adventure, South Africa should be at the top of your list. Start in Durban, a vibrant city known for its golden beaches and diverse cultural scene. Take a stroll along the Golden Mile, enjoy a boat ride to see the whales, and experience the lively Durban waterfront. Don’t miss the chance to taste some delicious South African BBQ, known locally as braai, where you can Savor perfectly grilled meats and traditional sides.

From Durban, head to the Drakensberg Mountains for some breathtaking scenery and outdoor adventures. The towering peaks and lush valleys are perfect for hiking, horseback riding, and exploring ancient rock art sites.

This European summer, I'm thrilled to be exploring a mix of iconic cities and hidden gems. First on the list is Spain, where I'll be soaking up the art, fashion, and culinary delights. I will also be traveling to Portugal and Ireland, discovering their rich cultures, beautiful landscapes, and unique flavours.

Finally, you are a true pasta guru (yummy), what is your favourite pasta recipe?
Thank you for the compliment! It's hard to pick just one favourite pasta recipe, but one that I Spaghetti aglio e olio (garlic and oil) is a classic and delicious dish. Here's a simple recipe you can try:

Ingredients:
• 200g spaghetti
• 4 cloves of garlic, thinly sliced
• 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
• 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
• Salt
• Freshly ground black pepper
• Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
• Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve about 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the spaghetti.
2. While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and red pepper flakes (if using) and cook, stirring frequently, until the garlic is golden but not burnt, about 1-2 minutes.
3. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet with the garlic and oil. Toss to coat the spaghetti evenly. If the pasta seems dry, add a splash of the reserved pasta water to loosen it up.
